The FSRT award ensures that paddlers have suitable safety and rescue skills to operate safely on sheltered water and can deal quickly and effectively with any simple emergency or capsize situation that may arise including towing and flat water swimming rescues.

The FSRT is a pre-requisite for those who want to complete the Level 1 Coach course.
